Booking Condition

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

The Booking:

Generally, the booking is confirmed with FIGCO HOLIDAYS, and can be called “contact” when we receive the deposit amount from your side, and you receive your tour details.

 

Cost of the Tour/ Services:

  1. The total cost of the tour might be increased after confirmation, only if there is a change in costs from the supplier.
  2. Make sure that FIGCO HOLIDAYS will do the best efforts in order to limit such increases, only the costs that are out of hands will be applicable such as, Fuel, landing taxes, fees at ports or airports due to rate exchange, and other fees which are changeable.

 

Payment:

  • All payments should be done to FIGCO HOLIDAYS.
  • You need to deposit 25% of the total cost “at least” to FIGCO HOLIDAYS in order to consider your booking as a confirmed one, while the balance payment should be transferred 10 days before tour starting date.

Notes: -

  •  for any booking which is done within the 10 days before the services starting date considered as late booking, and full payment must be deposited.
  • During busy seasons full payment is required to be settled promptly in order to secure the bookings (New year, Christmas, Festivals, etc.)
  • Deposits can be done online through our website, we accept all kinds of master cards and credit cards.
  • We must receive full net amount which is mentioned in the PI (proforma invoice) to our account, and we are not responsible for any bank charges or western union charges.
  • The tour costs do not include some increases that are out of hands, such as fuel costs, government taxes... etc.
  • 3% bank charges would be applicable in case of settling the payment through credit/debit cards.

Booking cancellation policy

When you decide to cancel your travel for any reason, we must get informed officially by a written letter. Cancellation fees will be applied based on the date we received the letter from your side. Cancellations fees would be as follows:

  • 30 days before arrival time: 5% will be applied.
  • 30-14 days before arrival time: 50% will be applied.
  • 14 days or less: 100% will be applied.

The amount of cancellation charges depends on the day or receiving the official letter at our sales office (from Monday to Friday) with local time of Sri Lanka.

Notes: -

 

  • Regardless above mentioned cancellations rules, in case of any cancellation of travel services when the booking is already made, 5% at least will be applied as cancellation fees.
  • When you decide to cancel the trip after it began, refund will be depended on the amount which will be able to return from the hotels because there will be unused rooms, transportations and meals, all of them are not our responsibility to refund its amounts.

 

 

  • There is no availability to refund in the following cases:
  1. High season bookings.
  2. New Year and Christmas bookings.
  3. Festival bookings.

 


 

Refund:

Refund will be done for unused services, and based on cancellation policy that mentioned earlier. The refund amount will be returned to the person who made the deposit, noting that refund process usually takes one-two weeks due to some procedures of the banks. Also please note that any bank fees will be deducted from the refunded amount.

 

Arrival and departure policy:

Check-In: 14:00 (local time)  /   Check-out   12:00 (local time)

Both early arrival and late check-outs are available upon requests and subject to payment & availability.

 

Personal usage of vehicle:

Kindly take note that any personal usage of vehicles out of the agreed services, will be on you your account (our services agreement include the exact things that we are responsible for covering it).

 

 

 

 

FIGCO HOLIDAYS responsibilities and limits:

Important notes:

  • FIGCO HOLIDAYS prices are based on airlines, hotels etc. offers, and so if the hotels or airlines changed their prices, we will change our offers accordingly even if we already quoted our customers with other prices.
  • FIGCO HOLIDAYS is responsible for booking the hotels, tickets and everything related to your trip, but we are not responsible for terms and conditions that should be followed from the services issuers.
  • FIGCO HOLIDAYS will provide you with trip itinerary that includes general idea about the trip schedule, places will be visited, transportations etc. FIGCO HOLIDAYS have rights to change or amend this schedule without notice for safety or comfort reasons. In this case the refund for any extra costs will be payable to the customer.
  • FIGCO HOLIDAYS will not be responsible for any issue that is out of hands, such as program change, any extra costs, natural hazards, injuries, flight cancellations, bad weather, political issues, customs regulations, and any other issue that will be out of control.

 

  • FIGCO HOLIDAYS will not be responsible for any injury or death that might be caused by any provided services such as bicycle, boat, motor, etc. as the customer responsible for his/her own risk.

 

  • FIGCO HOLIDAYS does not have any insurance services for sickness, accident, losing baggage or any personal staff etc. each customer has to arrange insurance for him/her self and its staff personally.

 

  • FIGCO HOLIDAYS has the right to cancel any service during the tour for any reason upon refunding the service value to the customer, and the customer will not issue any claim against the company due to this cancellation.

 

  • FIGCO HOLIDAYS has the right to refuse to provide its services to any person without explaining any reasons for that.

 

  • For any disputes between FIGCO HOLIDAYS and any customer, should take place in Colombo, Sri Lanka and the official language for a dispute is English. Any issue will not be solved for thrifty days shall be directed to ICC rules for arbitration.
